There is also a link to a searchable copy of our current contract. The site will be updated with negotiations information as it becomes available.
E-mail has become a very powerful method of communicating. It is the fastest and least expensive method of contacting large groups of people ‹ provided they use e-mail. Until everyone is online, e-mail will not be the only method of contact, but there are now enough members using it to make it worthwhile.
On our new site we can create self-subscribing e-mail mailing lists. By sending an e-mail message to negotiations-sub@chtu.org your e-mail address will be added to a list of members that will receive regular updates on the current negotiations. This list can later be used to provide a way to quickly contact members.
The Union would like to develop a mailing list of all members that use e-mail. Send your name and e-mail address chtu@chtu.org.
If you have a Union or education related interest and would like to moderate a mailing list, let me know more about it at S_Titchenal@chtu.org. These lists are designed for communicating a few messages a week to a subset of our members. The moderator should actively promote the group and post useful information. This will assure that the mailing list is being used effectively.

You can find a list of member benefits and discounted services; professional development publications; an archive of the AFT President's Where We Stand columns; and many other resources.
If you are considering buying a computer, you will find links to Union Technologist articles, educator's deals and the State form need to exempt you from paying sales taxes.
